The Borough of Jenkintown is proud to announce that it has been awarded a 2025 PennDOT Green Light Go Grant of $261,120.00 for Phase 2 improvements at the intersection of Walnut St and Runnymede Ave.
Phase 2 improvements will be a complete modernization of:
- traffic signal, including mast arms,
- radar detection in place of traffic loops
- curb ramps
- push buttons
- countdown signal heads
Incidental work such as conduit, wiring and controller upgrades is also included.
