As the center of a small, uniquely engaged community, the School District of Jenkintown is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment with diverse, challenging learning opportunities for all students to acquire the motivation, knowledge and skills to achieve academic excellence while competing in and contributing to a rapidly changing global society.

Jenkintown Elementary School is located just outside Philadelphia in The Borough of Jenkintown. JES serves over 300 students in grades K-6. In addition to standard academics, they offer students art, music, physical education, FLES, and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.

Jenkintown Elementary School teaches students CARES: Cooperation, Acceptance of others, Respect, Eagerness to learn, Staying safe. Jenkintown Middle/High School fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students within a small, nurturing community grounded in tradition. Through personalized, relevant, and challenging educational experiences, student acquire knowledge, skills, and capabilities, to develop respect and responsibility for themselves and others and to thrive as contributing citizens within a changing global community.

Jenkintown’s school community as of 2015 has 97 middle school students (7th-8th grades) and 195 students in the high school (9th-12th grades). Students come from all socioeconomic levels, and represent many cultural and religious backgrounds. Jenkintown is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools: Pennsylvania Department of Education. Faculty and staff number 50 with a student teacher ratio of 11/1. Average class size is 18.
