Road Closures for Tuesday August 1st

As the PECO gas main project is winding down, the following road will experience closures tomorrow Tuesday, August 1st. Vernon Road between Homestead and Clement Roads. This road will be closed tomorrow so that PECO can install new gas mains on Vernon Road. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area.  These road closures will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. Road Closures for Monday July 24th

The following roads will experience closures Monday, July 24th. Rodman Avenue between Myrtle and Florence Avenues as well as Clement Road between Rydal and Vernon Roads. There will also be temporary road closures on Rydal Road. These roads will be closed tomorrow so that service connections can be made from the newly placed gas main to the individual residences as well as install new gas mains on Clement Road. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area.  These road closures will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. To celebrate art in unexpected places, we’re inviting residents of Inside Out communities past and present to visit the Museum for free all weekend long.

Road Closures for Friday July 21st

The following roads will experience closures tomorrow, Friday, July 21st. Rodman Avenue between Myrtle and Florence Avenues, Clement Road between Rydal and Vernon Roads. These roads will be closed tomorrow so that service connections can be made from the newly placed gas main to the individual residences as well as install new gas mains on Clement Road. There will also be temporary road closures on Rodman Avenue from Cloverly to Runnymede Avenues to allow for the capping of the newly abandoned gas main. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area. These road closures will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. At this time the current construction schedule calls for this work to be completed prior to the end of August 2017.

Also, AQUA will have Township Line Road closed between Summit Avenue and Washington Lane as well as Washington Lane between York Road and Greenwood Avenue and Greenwood Avenue from Nice Avenue to Washington Lane tomorrow, Friday, July 21st, to allow for trench repairs to the newly installed water mains. Washington Lane Closed today, July 20th

The Borough has just been informed that AQUA has closed Washington Lane between York Road and Greenwood Avenue and Greenwood Avenue from Nice Avenue to Washington Lane today, July 20th, to allow for trench repairs to the newly installed water mains. This road closure will last until approximately 4PMContractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area.

Please make plans to take an alternate route to avoid further disruption to your travels. Thank you for your patience and understanding while these necessary repairs are made.
