Resolution 2026-19 was adopted at the September Council meeting.
The ‘Ready 100’ Clean and Renewable Energy Motion helped Montgomery County reach the 1/3 goal of it’s municipalities. This represents over 50% of the county’s population.
Resolution 2026-19 commits Jenkintown to being a community characterized by equality, health, safety, livability, prosperity and equity. The Borough recognizes the importance of developing a working relationship with its electric energy suppliers to create the most advantageous and mutually beneficial plan for integration locally generated and renewable power.
