Please join us in Town Square on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM for The Jenkintown Night Market brought to you by the Jenkintown Community Alliance & Evergreen Events. Information for the Night Market can be found here. There will also be the Summer Music Series produced by the Jenkintown Recreation Board on Tuesdays, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Although the full schedule can be found here, On July 18th, Analog Groove, a unique six-piece band with a diverse set of influences from New Orleans, R&B, Memphis, and well-known blues artist will be performing. Then on July 25th, Electric Mojo will take the stage for live music in the Square!

This Public Workshop Meeting includes the Administration & Finance, Building, Zoning & Revitalization, Public Safety and Public Works Committees and will include orders of business that may be brought forward to these Committees. Items on the agenda include a presentation by Heidi Shiver of PA Bird Towns. Ms. Shivers will be presenting the Borough with the certificate, signs and a brief powerpoint presentation about the PA Bird Towns program.

Wednesday, July 26th, 2023. 7:00 PM – 459-471 York Road Conditional Use Hearing
This Hearing has been continued to a future date at the applicant’s request and will not be held on this evening. Once the new Hearing date has been set, it will be re-advertised. The applicant, 459-471 Old York Road, LLC will be appearing before Council to seek Conditional Use approval from Section 181-49(B)(1) of the Jenkintown Borough Zoning Ordinance to permit an “Apartment Building.” The exiting building will be demolished and the lot will be redeveloped as a four story, fifty-one unit Apartment Building.
