The Borough would like to share the following information provided by Senator Art Haywood’s office:

Senator Art Haywood’s office will be partnering with Montgomery County and the Alliance of Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce to distribute free PPE kits to small businesses from Thursday, November 19 – Monday, November 23 between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Distribution will take place, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, at Senator Haywood’s Roslyn Office located at 1168 Easton Road, Abington PA 19001. Businesses and non-profits with 50 or fewer employees will be eligible for one to five kits based on total employees and while supplies last. Businesses may only receive a maximum of 5 kits from the county, not from each chamber. Each kit will provide enough PPE for at least 5 people. If you have already received PPE kits from the county, you are not eligible to receive any more.
The kits include face masks, face shields, sanitizer, a thermometer, sanitizing wipes, and other crucial COVID-19 mitigation and protection equipment along with #MaskUpMontco window clings and documents that provide COVID-19 information and guidance. The dimensions of each kit are 15”w x 12”d x 10”h and each kit weighs about 9 pounds per the supplier.
