2020 General Election Information

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VOTING IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA

The 2020 General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd 2020. Voters have several options to cast their ballot:

  • Vote by Mail-In Ballot
  • Vote by Absentee Ballot
  • Vote In Person

No matter which option you choose, you must be registered to vote by Monday, October 19th, 2020. Postmarks do not apply- your registration must be received by October 19th, 2020.

MAIL-IN & ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS:

If you wish to vote by mail, you must complete an Absentee or Mail-In Ballot application. The last day to apply for a Mail-In or Absentee Ballot is October 27th by 5:00 PM.  Please allow up to 10 business days to receive your ballot.

You have three options to return your ballot to Voter Services:

  • US Mail or other courier service (UPS, FedEx)
  • Secure Ballot Drop Box
  • In Person at a Voter Services office

VOTING IN PERSON:

For those who wish to vote in person, polling places will be open on November 3rd, 2020 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Click here to find your polling location. As of today, October 13th 2020, the following are the voter locations for each Jenkintown ward the 2020 General Election:

  • Ward One (Jenkintown 1): Jenkintown High School, 325 Highland Avenue, Jenkintown PA
  • Ward Two (Jenkintown 2):  Jenkintown Elementary School, 325 Highland Avenue, Jenkintown PA
  • Ward Three (Jenkintown 3): Jenkintown United Methodist Church, 328 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown PA
  • Ward Four (Jenkintown 4): Jenkintown High School, 325 Highland Avenue, Jenkintown PA

Montgomery County Voter Services are taking every precaution recommended by the Centers for Disease Control to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 including:

  • Physical & Social Distancing
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Frequent disinfection of surfaces
