June 2020 Special Collections:  Wednesday, June 3rd and Wednesday, June 17th 

The Jenkintown Public Works team has worked to create a solution to resume with special collections in June during this emergency. The landfill has re-opened and the means and methods to safely proceed with collections has been developed. 

Collections for June 3rd must be scheduled by Tuesday, June 2nd at 4:00 PM AND Collections for June 17th must be scheduled by Tuesday, June 16th at 4:00 PM so a schedule can be completed and distributed to PW department to begin collections.

You can schedule a special collection by calling 215-885-0700 and leave message or email glocke@jenkintownboro.comcreate new email and provide your address, item to be collected and contact information (i.e. phone/email).

The cost to have a bulk item removed will be provided at the time of scheduling OR you can refer to the Borough Website for a  opens in a new windowfee scheduleopens PDF file .

Payment can be made by mailing a check to Borough Hall at 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown, PA 19046, placing payment in the mail slot in the front door of Borough Hall, arranging for a porch pick up on the day of your scheduled collection OR payments can be made online or by phone with a credit card, however a service fee will be applied by the card service company which may make this method less favorable.
