Due to the snowfall & inclement weather that occurred this morning, Jenkintown Borough Public Works will complete today’s curbside leaf collection of Route 2, tomorrow, Thursday, December 12th. The portion of Route 2 not collected today, Summit Avenue, from Township Line Road to York Road, will be collected with Route 3, tomorrow, Thursday, December 12th. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Tonight’s regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting has been canceled. The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Borough Hall, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown, PA 19046.
Jenkintown Borough has been notified by Aqua Pennsylvania’s subcontractor, Caddick Utilities, that Newbold Road between Rydal Road and Washington Lane will be closed to thru traffic for approximately one week beginning Thursday, December 5th from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for service and trench restoration to be safely completed.
Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this process. If you do not reside on this road please take another route during these times to avoid disruption of your travels.

Jenkintown Borough received notification from Republic Services that curbside trash and recycling will be delayed ONE DAY due to the inclement weather experienced earlier this week.. Trash and recycling will be picked up this week on Saturday, December 7th, 2019.
