Jenkintown Borough Public Works: Special/ Bulk Collections in June

June 2020 Special Collections:  Wednesday, June 3rd and Wednesday, June 17th 

The Jenkintown Public Works team has worked to create a solution to resume with special collections in June during this emergency. Reminder:  Curbside Trash & Recycling Collection will Take Place Saturday, May 30th due to the Observance of Memorial Day

Due to the observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 25th, the Borough’s curbside trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day and will be collected on Saturday, May 30th, instead of Friday’s regularly scheduled collection day.

The Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee, would like to remind all borough residents to cover their recycling containers. If the cardboard or paper recyclables become wet they are considered contaminated and may not be able to be recycled. Thank you for your continued enthusiastic support!
