Summit Avenue will be closed tomorrow, Thursday July 11th, between Leedom and Cedar Streets from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The closure will take place to allow for Falcone & Sons Inc, a subcontractor for the Summit House Apartments, to begin the sanitary sewer project for the Summit House Apartments. This right of way / roadway portion of the project is expected to take one day.
Please make plans to take an alternate route to avoid further disruption of your travels. Thank you for your patience and understanding while these necessary improvements are made. Should you have any questions, please contact Borough Hall at (215) 885-0700. Thank you!
Get ready for all the nostalgia as the Hiway Theater has announced tickets are now available for the showing of the gorgeous new take on The Lion King, opening Friday, July 19th.
The all-new The Lion King journeys to the African savanna where a future king, Simba, is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.
View the new CGI re-imagining of The Lion King of the original movie you know and love at your local, community theater, instead of going to a multiplex. To order tickets please visit, https://www.hiwaytheater.org/films/lion-king
