Aqua Pennsylvania is set to begin their planned infrastructure improvements within Jenkintown Borough. The first phase of the Aqua water main replacement project is scheduled to begin after the end of the school year, on Monday, June 17th and will include Highland Avenue between West and Hillside Avenues, as well as Walnut Street between Greenwood and West Avenues. There is a planned detour for Walnut Street on this project map shown here. The detour will be in effect Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM / 3:00 PM daily so the work can be performed safely. Trash & Recycling Pick Up Delayed until Saturday, June 1st
Jenkintown Borough has been notified by Republic Services (the Borough’s trash and recycling hauler), that the curbside pickup of trash and recycling in the Borough, will be delayed one day this week until Saturday, June 1st.
This delay is due to last Monday’s Memorial Day Holiday.
Trash and recycling will be picked up this week on Saturday, June 1st.

Graduation Season is upon us!!
Are you having a Graduation Party and using Solo Cups? Please consider recycling your empty party cups through Terracycle. There will be blue bins outside of Borough Hall & in Town Square starting Friday. They will be marked with the following flyer and picked up on Monday.

Summer Music Series Begins Tonight!
