This comprehensive plan is a community-based document and your voice is essential to its success. Jenkintown2035 must reflect the needs and desires of all of the community’s residents to be truly effective in planning for the future. Whether you are a resident, student, employee, business owner, or a general interested citizen – we need to hear from you. Please consider attending one of our upcoming public workshops or taking the community survey. We are also available to present to community groups or organizations.
Public Workshops: Join the conversation with fellow residents, businesses, and lovers of Jenkintown to help shape the future of the borough! This is a great opportunity to come and learn more about the comprehensive planning process and share your thoughts, insights, and opinions. A big thank you to everyone who came out to the first public workshop on October 29, 2015 – we had about 80 people in attendance and had a great discussion about the future of Jenkintown! Community Survey: The first community survey in the fall of 2015 had 789 responses! The gathered through the community survey will help guide the steering committee in the drafting of the initial issues and recommendations for the comprehensive plan.
