Phase Two of the Sanitary Sewer Lining Project will continue on Wednesday, November 27th 2019 on Washington Lane between Newbold and Vernon Roads and West Avenue between Walnut Street and Highland Avenue from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  Township Line Road will remain open however flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures. 

These intermittent temporary delays in the area are to allow for life safety of personnel from National Water Main Cleaning Company, who are completing the spot repairs. This work being completed at this time should not cause any disruption to water / sewer service to residents. Below is important information from the Borough regarding the holiday schedule throughout the months of November and December:

Borough Hall Hours – November 27^th, 2019: Jenkintown Borough Hall will have amended hours on Wednesday, November 27^th, 2019.  Borough Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27^th, 2019.

Borough Hall Closed – November 28^th, 2019 and November 29^th, 2019: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 28^th, 2019 and Friday, November 29^th, 2019 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, December 2^nd, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling Collection will be collected on Saturday, November 30^th, 2019.

Washington Lane will remain open however Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures. Additionally during this time, Cedar Street between Harper Avenue and Washington Lane will have intermittent temporary delays.

Phase Two of the Sanitary Sewer Lining Project will continue on Wednesday, November 20^th 2019 on Florence Avenue between Greenwood & West Avenues from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM and West Avenue between Walnut Street & Highland Avenue.  During this phase of the project the contractor, National Water Main Cleaning Company, will complete spot repairs. This work being completed at this time should not cause any disruption to water/ sewer service to residents. 

The roads will remain open but there may be intermittent temporary delays in the area to allow for life safety of personnel. Please use caution in the area or make plans to take an alternate route to avoid further disruption to your travels.
