The Borough has been notified of an unexpected situation by SEPTA, the Stony Creek Bridge in Montgomery County (near SEPTA’s Norristown line) has been hit and damaged. The Bridge is currently unable to be used.

Natural Gas Service Upgrades
PECO has completed installation of new gas mains and will begin natural gas service upgrades inside of homes on Hillside and Florence Avenues for customers previously notified on Saturday, September 26th 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Hillside Avenue between Highland Avenue and Walnut Street and Florence Avenue between Runnymede and West Avenues will be closed to thru traffic 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for the service upgrades to be safely completed in this area.Natural Gas Service Upgrades

Sanitary Sewer Main Project Update Tuesday, September 21, 2020 through Friday, September 25th
The Borough has been notified by the project contractor, National Water Main Cleaning Company, that the Public Sanitary Sewer Main Project will continue Tuesday, September 22nd through Friday, September 25th from 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The Sewer lining and cured in place pipe (CIPP) spot repairs have been completed and the contractor will begin pressure testing and grouting the lateral connections in the sanitary sewer main during this final phase. The contractor has reported that there will be no disruption of service and no foul odor from chemical emittance.
