Important Thanksgiving Weekend and Holiday Activity Information
Below is important information from the Borough regarding the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and holiday activities occurring in Town Square:
Borough Hall Closed – November 26th, 2020 and November 27th, 2020: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 26th, 2020 and Friday, November 27th, 2020 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, November 30th, 2020 by appointment only.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling Collection will be collected on Saturday, November 28th, 2020.
PECO ROAD CLOSURES: Saturday, November 21st PECO Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP)
Natural Gas Service UpgradesThe Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that there will be temporary lane closures on Walnut Street from Hillside to West Avenues tomorrow, November 21st from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM to allow for service upgrades to be safely completed in this area. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control.
Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this process. If you do not reside on this road please take another route during these times to avoid disruption of your travels.
