PECO Update: Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP)

Installation of New Gas Mains
The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that the Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) will continue Monday, June 22nd.  Walnut Street between Cheltena and West Avenues will have temporary lane closures for approximately one week beginning Monday, June 22nd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for the installation of new gas mains to be safely completed in this area.  Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane
closures.

Limited Special/ Bulk Collections in July Jenkintown Borough Public Works Specials Collections Schedule: Wednesday, July 1st and Wednesday, July 15th

The Jenkintown Public Works team will proceed with their Special Collections Program on a limited schedule in July as we continue to take the necessary safety precautions during this COVID 19 emergency.  Special collections for the month of July are scheduled on Wednesday, July 1st and Wednesday, July 15th.
