Jenkintown Borough continues to update the Borough website with the latest COVID-19 information and community resources that have been provided by County, State and Federal agencies.

Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine signed new orders for targeted mitigation efforts for bars and restaurants, gatherings and telework.  The new orders are currently in effect as of 12:01 a.m., today, July 16, 2020. The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that the Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) will continue Monday, July 13th.  Walnut Street between Rodman and West Avenues will have temporary lane closures for approximately one week beginning Monday, July 13th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for the installation of new gas mains to be safely completed in this area.  Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures. 

Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this process.  If you do not reside on this road please take another route during these times to avoid disruption of your travels.

Natural Gas Service Upgrades
PECO has completed installation of new gas mains and will begin natural gas service upgrades inside of homes on Runnymede Avenue for customers previously notified.

Round 3 grant awards will once again be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County in partnership with the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners and the Montgomery County Commerce Department.
