The annual Memorial Day Parade for Jenkintown Borough will be held by the McKeown-Zane VFW Post No. 1711 on May 28th, 2018. Jenkintown School District will be having a used clothing collection on June 2, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Items may be dropped off in the Front Link Circle. 

Jenkintown School District is collecting men/women & children’s useable and wearable clothing including: jackets, shoes, bags, belts, hats, gloves and scarves.
Household items including: blankets, linens, towels, curtains, pillows, stuffed animals. NO TOYS. NO BOOKS.

Due to the inclement weather this evening, the first night of Jenkintown Summer Music Series scheduled for May 22nd, featuring the Jenkintown High School Jazz Band has been cancelled. The Jenkintown Borough Rec Board is hoping to reschedule and the Borough will keep residents up to date with email blasts as soon as we are aware of a new date.

The planning process has been completed. The required comment portion by the public, neighboring municipalities and all other entities has been completed. Jenkintown 2035 Comprehensive Plan is now entering the adoption phase. All aspects of the Comprehensive Plan from planning through adoption are regulated by the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code.
