Welcome to the Borough

Jenkintown Borough is a small suburban town, less than a square mile in area, with a population of approximately 4,450 residents. Surrounded by bustling Abington and Cheltenham Townships and a short drive to Philadelphia, Jenkintown appears to be a quiet oasis. The small-town vibe of Jenkintown allows residents to share strong social ties to the community and gain a sense of support and inclusion from residents to business owners.

Jenkintown residents enjoy the walkable business district, the multiple places to worship, the benefit of accessible public transportation by both Rail and Bus, as well as our own Nationally Ranked School District.

Jenkintown Borough Hall is located at 700 Summit Avenue in Jenkintown, PA 19046. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Wednesday evenings we are open until 7 p.m. Borough Hall can be reached at 215-885-0700 or please feel free to stop by in person for any questions or concerns that you may have.

Our town continues to grow and expand offering the residents, as well as visitors, the chance to browse the many distinctive shops, dine in the wide variety of restaurants and to experience all the arts and entertainment we have to offer throughout the community. We’re glad you’re here!
