Runnymede Avenue Road Closure Tomorrow April 4th

Runnymede Avenue between Florence and Myrtle Avenues will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, April 4th to all through traffic from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. The road closure is to allow the Borough to complete final restoration to the roadway as a result of the completed storm sewer infrastructure work  addressing the ground water issue. The road closure will take place to ensure the safety for both the General Public as well as the workers.

Please make plans to take an alternate route during the time listed above to avoid further disruption to your travels. Residents residing on the 200 block of Runnymede will have complete access to their driveways. Thank you for your patience and understanding while these necessary repairs are made.

Zoning Hearing Board Hearing Postponed – 441/443 Leedom Street

The Jenkintown Borough Zoning Hearing Board has agreed to a continuance at the applicant’s request. The public hearing that was originally scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 28th, 2019, has been continued and will not take place at this time. The legal representative for the applicant will be submitting new plans and ZHB application. The new hearing has not been set as the revised application and plans have not been submitted to Jenkintown Borough at this time. Once the plans/application are submitted and a hearing date has been set the Borough will make all appropriate and required notifications.
