Due to the storms that the Borough experienced yesterday and last evening, Public Works has been working to clear roadways for emergency and non-emergency vehicles. Now that those tasks are under control the PW Dept. will be performing a special curbside collection of branches, limbs and leaves, tomorrow, Friday, July 23rd, 2021.

Tree limbs and branches can be placed curbside for collection, they will need to be cut no longer than 4 feet in length and should not be larger than 4 inches in diameter so they can safely fit and be compacted in the Borough Truck/Compactor. If unmanageable, the branches will need to be bundled and tied so the workers can safely place them in the compactor. The yard waste should be placed in biodegradable bags to ensure pickup.

Tomorrow PW will be making curbside collections between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM through out the Borough.
This will not affect the regular curbside pickup of trash and recycling by Republic Services.
