Preregistration

The COVID-19 vaccination process is underway in our district. While initial doses were reserved for healthcare workers, more individuals now have an opportunity. To see if you are currently eligible to get vaccinated in Pennsylvania, take the quiz at Commonwealth of PA – COVID Vaccine Eligibility Quiz

By preregistering for the COVID-19 vaccine, you can be notified when it is your turn to receive it. For my Montgomery County neighbors, visit Montgomery County Official Website – COVID-19 Vaccine or Montgomery County Office of Public Health – Vaccination Registry. For my neighbors who reside in Philadelphia, visit Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium (BDCC) Coronavirus Vaccine Request Form or Philly Fighting COVID (PFC) – Pre-Commit to Getting Vaccinated

Stay Informed

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has launched a Vaccine Dashboard to view updated information on the distribution of the vaccine for Montgomery County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. For Philadelphia updates, visit the Philadelphia Department of Public Health Dashboard. Review the Philadelphia COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Plan here

Get Involved

There are several ways in your community to get involved with the vaccine roll out process. The Pennsylvania Department of Health allows the public to review the Pennsylvania Interim COVID-19 Vaccination Plan and provide questions, comments, or concerns at Pennsylvania Vaccination Feedback Form.

If you are interested in volunteering, medical and nonmedical volunteers can register at SERVPA – Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Online Registry to serve as part of the Montgomery County Medical Reserve Corps. Volunteers can also sign up through the Philly Fighting Code website or by emailing volunteer@phillyfightingcovid.comcreate new email.

Even though vaccinations have begun to fight COVID-19, we must continue to be patient, wash our hands, practice social distancing, and wear a mask.
