AQUA’s sub contractor, Caddick Utilities, will continue the second phase of the excavation and water-main installation project on Thursday, September 26, 2019 between the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  The following closures will take place during this time to allow for the roadway to be excavated and the new water-main to be safely installed:     

West Avenue will be closed to “thru traffic” from Vernon Road to Newbold Road,
Newbold Road will be closed to “thru traffic” from West Avenue to Washington Lane,
Homestead Road will be closed to “thru traffic” from Cottman Street to Vernon Road, 

Flaggers & signage will be on site to help control the flow of traffic during this process and residents will continue to have access to their properties. If you do not reside on one of these roads please plan to take another route during these times to avoid disruption to your travels

The excavation and placement of the water-main is now taking place. The installation of the individual water services to customers will follow once the installation of the water-mains have been completed. Any road opening will be back-filled daily or safety plated and opened to traffic. The trench will have temporary restoration at the end of each work day.
