The Public Works Department has brined all roads in preparation for the inclement weather expected to begin around 7AM and last through 1PM tomorrow, December 9th. While this may not be a plowable event, the roads may be slippery during morning hours as salting operations are taking place. All equipment is operational and Public Works will be fully staffed throughout the storm. The snow is expected to accumulate 1-4 inches with light winds.
- Safety measures in the event of a power outage: There is always the possibility of a power outage due to the high winds that accompany a storm. If you use a power generator, please make sure the generator is located outside in the open air for proper ventilation. Any portable heaters or candles that may be used in the event of a power outage should not be located near anything flammable.
- PECO: Customers experiencing any issues should contact PECO at 1-800-841-4141, peco.com or PECO Smart Mobile On-the-Go, the company’s mobile enhanced website. PECO has announced that they have manned their emergency response centers in case of power outages.
