PECO is in the final stages of the electrical upgrade project. PECO states that the attached letter was mailed approximately on May 13th notifying customers of power outages. Additionally, PECO stated that customers would also receive a separate notice 72 hours in advance of the scheduled interruption. The Borough has had numerous complaints that these notifications had not been received.

As they wrap up the project, PECO will be scheduling brief power interruptions (approx. 4-6 hours in duration) between May 31 – June 10. The Borough is in communication with PECO attempting to obtain the remaining disruption schedule so it can be distributed to Borough residents by email blast, Facebook and on the Borough website.
