Jenkintown Borough is seeking a Director of Finance / Assistant to the Manager. Candidates must be able to take initiative, have strong communication skills and a grasp of governmental functions. This position involves all administrative tasks including budgeting, finance, public information, human resource, labor relations and community communications including social media. Desired minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, and three years of related experience preferably in Government accounting; or any combination of education/experience that would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability to perform the job.
