PECO Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project Update

Installation of New Gas Mains
The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that the Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) will continue Tuesday, May 26th.  Walnut Street between Cheltena and West Avenues will have temporary lane closures for approximately one week beginning Tuesday, May 26th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for the installation of new gas mains to be safely completed in this area.  Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures. Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this process.  If you do not reside on this road please take another route during these times to avoid disruption of your travels.

2020 Primary Election Secure Ballot Box Drop-Off Locations

In preparation for the June 2, 2020 Primary Election during the COVD-19 pandemic, Montgomery County has taken steps to make voting safer and more efficient.  Pennsylvania law now allows voters the option to vote by absentee or mail-in ballot rather than going to their polling place on Election Day. In Montgomery County, we are making voting more efficient by providing five (5) secure drop-off boxes located throughout the county for voters to return their completed ballots and avoid postal service delays.
