Natural Gas Service Upgrades PECO has completed installation of new gas mains and will begin natural gas service upgrades inside of homes on Hillside Avenue for customers previously notified, on Monday, October 19th. Hillside Avenue between Walnut Street and Highland Avenue will be closed to thru traffic 7:00 AM to 3:00 PMto allow for the service upgrades to be safely completed in this area.Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this process. The Jenkintown Borough 2020 curbside leaf collection will begin on Monday, October 26th and will continue through Thursday, December 17th. As in previous years the Borough has been divided in to five (5) routes. Each route will be collected four (4) times.
