Division Street Restrictions

Due to necessary repairs to a section of a retaining wall facing Division Street, this week Division Street will have limited parking and road access. Division Street will have limited parking on Wednesday November 2nd, in front of and surrounding the homes of 505 Division Street. Limited parking is expected to last into the weekend. Signs will be posted with dates of No Parking and the location. We ask that all vehicles adhere to these signs, as this retaining wall has been deemed structurally unsound and is a hazard to public safety. Due to thee serious nature of this project, the Borough will be forced to remove cars that are not in compliance with the signage.

Additionally, Division Street will be closed to traffic Friday, November 4th starting at 7 AM  to allow for the excavation of the retaining wall and dirt behind the wall.  Access to homes will be maintained with the exception of where the work is taking place but street parking will be restricted during the time of the closure. The road closure will take place to ensure the safety for both the General Public as well as the workers.

We apologize for this inconvenience and please contact the Borough with any questions or concerns at (215) 885-0700.
