We are pleased to announce that we have received a 2017 Montco 2040 Implementation Grant for the Gateway at the south entrance of the Borough. The grant, aimed at implementing the county comprehensive plan, Montco 2040: A Shared Vision, is one of thirteen recently awarded by the Montgomery County Commissioners. The artist rendition submitted in the grant application as well as the existing gateway can be found here.
There will be a bird walk in Jenkintown on Saturday April 29 beginning at 10am with hosts at four locations in the Borough to watch birds and learn how to locally to support habitat for birds. This event is organized in collaboration with the Wyncote Audubon Society and the Briar Bush Nature Center.
At the request of the applicant, a continuance has been granted for the Zoning Hearing Board Hearing scheduled on April 27th, 2017 regarding 610 York Road. This hearing will be re-scheduled in the near future and notices will be sent to all affected parties as required by the Jenkintown Borough Code.

At the Jenkintown Borough Council meeting on April 24 at 7:30 pm, Council will consider a motion to advertise a request for information (RFI) for the acquisition and unified redevelopment of four Borough-owned parcels on Summit Avenue, including Borough Hall, the public works garage/office/yard, and a rental property.
