The Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Jenkintown will hold a public meeting tonight, August 2nd, 2017 at 7:00pm. in Borough Hall, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown, PA 19046 for the continuance of the application of JJLH of Jenkintown LLC, on behalf of Faulkner Nissan, of 610 York Road, Jenkintown, Pa 19046. The Applicant is appealing the decision of the Zoning Officer and is requesting a special exception, and variances sections 181-57, 181-58A, 181-43.C.1.c.1, 181-43.C.1.c.2, 181-43.C.1.c.3, 181-74, and Article XIV to use the existing lot as surface parking for Faulkner Nissan at 610 York Road Jenkintown PA 19046. All affected or interested parties are invited to attend and offer testimony.

This FREE camp, offered by the volunteers who serve as the officers and members of the Company, will be on hand to teach interested individuals what it is like to be a Firefighter.

Road Closures for Tuesday August 1st
As the PECO gas main project is winding down, the following road will experience closures tomorrow Tuesday, August 1st. Vernon Road between Homestead and Clement Roads. This road will be closed tomorrow so that PECO can install new gas mains on Vernon Road. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area. These road closures will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely.
