“Code Red” Hot Weather Health Warning

Norristown, PA (July 12, 2017) – The Montgomery County Commissioners, on the advice of the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, have declared a Code Red Hot Weather Health Warning for Montgomery County based on a review of forecasts from the National Weather Service.

The Code Red has been issued for Montgomery County from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Road Closures for Wednesday July 12th 

The following roads will experience closures tomorrow, Wednesday, July 12th. Rodman Avenue between Walnut Street and Myrtle Avenue, and Clement Road between Rydal and Vernon Roads. These roads will be closed tomorrow so that service connections can be made from the newly placed Gas main to the individual residences. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area.  The road closure will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. At this time the current construction schedule calls for this work to be completed prior to the end of August 2017.

Summer Music Series is back tonight!

The Summer Music Series is back! After a successful Fourth of July Jam Session, we return to regular Tuesday night concerts in Town Square at 7:00 PM.
