Jenkintown’s annual Red & Blue Fair will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 11am-3pm on the grounds of the Jenkintown Elementary School.  The Fair is one of Jenkintown’s great traditions and should not be missed!  It is open to the public and is a wonderful family, school, and community event!

At the Fair, you will find games, inflatables, dunk tank, grocery roulette, fire truck rides, an amazing plant sale, a fabulous gift basket raffle, delicious food, and SO MUCH MORE!

The Fair is held RAIN or SHINE…in case of rain we move indoors with all the same fun (with the possible exception of inflatables and fire truck rides)!

Due to the lack of agenda items tonight’s Design Review Board meeting will be canceled. The next Design Review Board meeting is currently scheduled for Tuesday June 18th at 6:00 P.M.

Additionally, due to the lack of agenda items the Jenkintown Borough Zoning Hearing Board will not be meeting on the regularly scheduled May meeting date, Thursday May 23rd. The Borough’s contracted Waste Hauler, Republic Services, has notified the Borough that todays pick up is running behind schedule but will still be completed. Low Level Radio Active Waste was detected in the Jenkintown Borough trash stream the last two Fridays as it arrived at the trash transfer station. The 6th Annual Borough Wide Yard Sale is scheduled to be held this weekend, Saturday, May 11^th. The once a year borough wide event includes 56 yard sales held throughout the borough from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. These yard sales are all within walking distance of each other. Maps and lists of all sales are available for free at each of the sales and can be found here
