This Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 6:30 PM the Jenkintown Environmental Advisory Committee will host their final, exciting and informative block party exhibit of 2019. This is an ALL ages event and will feature fun activities for the entire family. PDC Machines of Warminster will demonstrate a hydrogen vehicle on Greenwood Avenue in front of the Pioneer Fire House (across from Town Square). Only four (4) gallons of water was used to generate enough hydrogen for this vehicle to drive 360 miles and it’s only emission was water”. Please join us for one of the largest outdoor art festivals in Montgomery County as Jenkintown Festival of the Arts returns for its 21st year on Sunday, September 15 in Jenkintown’s historic downtown. Just a reminder, that TONIGHT, Police Chief Albert DiValentino along with Mayor Allyson Dobbs & Councilors Jay Conners, Anne MacHaffie, Jennifer Lugar and Alex Khalil would like to invite you to come enjoy / participate in a “Coffee with the Chief”.
Coffee with the Chief brings the Police Department and the community members/stakeholders they serve together to discuss issues, learn more about each other and build relationships – one cup of coffee at a time.
Coffee with the Chief will be held at the White Horse Coffee & Creamery, 700 West Avenue from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM TONIGHT, Monday, August 19th . Free coffee and light pastries will be served.

Jenkintown Borough has just received notification from AQUA Pennsylvania that Summit Avenue, between Cedar & Willow Streets will be closed tomorrow August 10th and Monday, August 12th to continue installation of the water service to 610 Summit Avenue.
The closure will be in effect tomorrow 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Monday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM so the work can continue to be performed safely. Please plan to take another route during these times to avoid disruption to your travels. Residents will continue to have access to their properties during this detour.
