Borough Hall Closing Early Today, February 9th
Please note the Borough Administration will be closing at 2:00 pm today, February 9th, to allow staff to safely travel home. The Borough Administration will reopen as normal tomorrow, February 10th at 8:00 am. If you have an emergency please dial 911 or if you require the police in a non emergency situation please call (215) 884-1202. Public Works will remain on duty throughout the storm continuing to implement their planned storm response.

Guest Speaker at the Environmental Committee Meeting
You and your colleagues are personally invited to the next Jenkintown Environmental Committee Meeting as they have a guest speaker, Dan Duran, Evolutionary Ecologist from Drexel who will be presenting: The Value of Native and Edible Landscapes in enhancing curb appeal, property values, and quality of life.
They would love for you to attend this special meeting of interest on Wed. Feb 17th at 7pm at Borough Hall.

Water Main Break on Walnut Street
Borough officials have been notified by AQUA PA of a water main break near the intersection of Walnut Street and Greenwood Avenue. Officials from AQUA PA are on site at this time and have isolated the area of the break in order to limit the disruption in water service to the surrounding area and make all necessary repairs. At this time AQUA is reporting that water service has been disrupted on the 300 block of Walnut Street. In order to facilitate the repair work, Walnut Street between West Avenue and Greenwood Avenue will be closed until further notice. AQUA is estimating that it may take approximately 4 to 8 hours to complete the repairs. Borough officials ask that you please use caution when driving in this area as roads may be icy.
