The following roads will experience closures today, Thursday, July 6th. Rodman Avenue between Walnut Street and Myrtle Avenue, as well as Hillside Avenue between Elm Avenue and Walnut Street will be closed tomorrow so that service connections can be made from the newly placed Gas main to the individual residences. Additionally, Clement Avenue between Rydal and Vernon Roads will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, July 6th due to excavations being made to install the new Gas Main in this area. The road closure will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. Trash, Recycling & Yard Debris Schedule for 4th of July Holiday
In observance of Independence Day, trash and recycling will be collected Saturday, July 8th. Residents are reminded to have all items for collection out by 7:00 a.m. in order to ensure collection. Also, in observance of Independence Day, Tuesday’s yard debris and special pick up will be collected Wednesday July 5th.
Borough Hall will be closed tomorrow, July 4th, to celebrate the 4th of July holiday. Borough Hall will reopen Wednesday July 5th at 8:00 AM.
