The Jenkintown Farm Market will be held tonight, Tuesday, July 18th from 5:30pm-8:30pm in Town Square!  Please welcome our newest  vendor and local brewery for the remainder of the season!

The market is a great place to gather with friends after work, or to stop by to grab some snacks and food for later. Be sure to get there early because things do sell out!

The Summer Music Series continues this Tuesday at 7PM with Hot Club of Philadelphia. Led by guitarist/vocalist, Barry Wahrhaftig with Joe Arnold on violin, Dan Pearce on guitar, and Jim Stager on bass, this self-described Gypsy Jazz band meshes the spirit of Django and Grappelli with their own unique, modern take. The following roads will experience closures on Monday, July 17th. Rodman Avenue between Myrtle and Florence Avenues as well as between Florence and Runnymede Avenues, and Clement Road between Rydal and Vernon Roads. Please note that Florence Avenue will be open to thru traffic, however you will not be able to turn onto Rodman Avenue in either direction. These roads will be closed so that service connections can be made from the newly placed gas main to the individual residences. Contractors will provide access to homes for residents who live in this area.  These road closures will last until approximately 4PM. These closures will take place to allow for PECO to perform the installations safely. At this time the current construction schedule calls for this work to be completed prior to the end of August 2017.

Also, Cedar Street will be closed between Division Street and Greenwood Avenue on Saturday July 15th to allow for the residents of the 300 block of Cedar Street to host a block party.
