Trick or Treat in the Shops

The Jenkintown Borough Business Group is excited to announce this year’s Trick or Treat in the Shops and the Canine Creepy Crawl!

This Saturday, October 28th from 12pm until 4pm local business owners are inviting children and their furry friends into the shops to trick or treat! Please look for the pumpkin pawprint in the window for the trick or treat friendly shops!

We would like to thank the local shops for participating in this event! Don’t forget to wear your costume!

Scare on the Square

Calling all ghosts and goblins! The Jenkintown Recreation Board is excited to announce this year’s Scare on the Square, our annual celebration of all that is trick and treat-y in Jenkintown. Please join us on Saturday, October 28th from 2 – 4 PM in Town Square, where we’ll have tons of fun activities for monsters of all ages! Join us for face painting, crafts, trick or treating and more!

Take Back Day 2017

The Jenkintown Police Department in cooperation with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office – will be accepting any unused prescription medications you would like to dispose of. Residents can bring the medications to the Jenkintown Police Department on Saturday, October 28th from 10 AM until 2 PM, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown PA  19046.

Newbold Road Closed Tomorrow October 20th

Newbold Road from Clement to Rydal Roads will be closed tomorrow, October 20th from 7AM until 3PM.  This closure will take place to repair and preserve the road for the upcoming winter weather.

Please make plans to take an alternate route during the time listed to avoid further disruption to your travels. Thank you for your patience and understanding while these necessary repairs are made.

Runnymede Avenue Road Closure

Runnymede Avenue from Linda Vista to Elm Avenues will be closed today, October 11th until 3PM.  The closure will take place to repair an emergency gas leak.
