Early Trash & Recycling Pick Up Friday, July 19th

A “Code Red” Hot Weather Health Warning has been issued for Montgomery County from today until Sunday, July 21, 2019.

Due to the extreme heat expected on Friday, July 19, 2019, the Borough has authorized the contracted Trash/Recycling hauler to begin curbside pickup earlier then the contracted time of 7:00 AM to ensure the safety of the workers. Republic does not anticipate the workers beginning prior to 6:30 AM. Jenkintown Borough residents may want to place items for curbside pick up out on Thursday night to avoid missing the early pick up on Friday morning.
Thank you for your consideration during this heat emergency.

Please feel free to contact Borough Hall with any questions or concerns at (215) 885-0700.
