Installation of New Gas Mains The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that the Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) will continue the week of Monday, May 18th.Walnut Street between Cheltena and Hillside Avenues will have temporary lane closures for approximately one week beginning Monday, May 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for the installation of new gas mains to be safely completed in this area. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control due to temporary lane closures.

Jenkintown Borough would like to remind you that due to the COVID-19 Emergency and in strict observance of Governor Wolf’s “Stay at Home Order”, the Borough will livestream the regularly scheduled Public Safety and Public Works Committee meetings tomorrow, May 13th at 7:00 PM on the Borough Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/jenkintownboro. Meeting agendas and minutes can be found here on the borough website.
The public will be able to submit comments beforehand to the Borough Manager at glocke@jenkintownboro.com. Comments received before 4:00 PM the night of the meeting will be read during the public meeting. The public will also have the opportunity to ask questions/comment live during the “Public Comment” portion of the meeting at https://www.facebook.com/jenkintownboro.
