Recognizing the need to provide support to strengthen our local businesses and communities, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners is making available $10,000,000 in economic development funds to provide grants to eligible small businesses for Round 3 of the MontcoStrong Small Business Grant Program. Round 3 grant awards will once again be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County in partnership with the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners and the Montgomery County Commerce Department. Reminder: Limited Special/ Bulk Collections in July The Next Scheduled “SPECIAL COLLECTION” is Wednesday, July 15th

PECO Update: Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) Monday, July 6th thru Friday, July 10th

Installation of New Gas Mains
The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that the Accelerated Gas Infrastructure Modernization Project (AGIMP) will continue Monday, July 6th.  Walnut Street between Cheltena and West Avenues will have temporary lane closures for approximately one week beginning Monday, July 6th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PMto allow for the installation of new gas mains to be safely completed in this area.

Borough Hall will be Open to the Public by Appointment Only Beginning Monday, July 6th

In keeping with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Montgomery County office procedures and consistent with other local municipalities during this period of the COVID-19 emergency, The Borough of Jenkintown offices will be open and available by appointment only between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Please call the borough offices at 215-885-0700 to request an appointment and the appropriate borough employee will reach out to schedule with you.

Reminder:  In observance of the Independence Day holiday, the Borough Offices will be closed tomorrow, July 3rd. There will be no interruption of service to the Borough’s curbside trash/recycling collection due to the Independence Day holiday.  Waste collection will operate as scheduled, tomorrow, July 3rd.
