Jenkintown Borough is pleased to announce that new lidded recycling containers are coming soon to Jenkintown Borough residents.   The recycling containers will be purchased with a $60,470 grant awarded to the Borough by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PaDEP).  This grant award represents the full amount requested to help stimulate the Borough’s Curbside Recycling Collection Program by providing one 35- gallon wheeled/covered recycling container for each solid waste account holder in the borough.

The Jenkintown Public Works department will proceed with their Special Collections Program on a limited schedule as we continue to take the necessary safety precautions during the COVID-19 emergency.  Special collections will take place the first and third Wednesday of the month until further notice.
