The Borough has been notified by PECO’s subcontractor, Henkels & McCoy, that there will be temporary road closures on West Avenue from Walnut Street to Highland Avenue, tomorrow, December 29th from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM to allow for service upgrades to be safely completed in this area. Read More »
Jenkintown Borough “Special Council Meeting” will be Livestreamed tonight at 6:30 PM
The Borough will livestream tonight’s scheduled Special Council meeting at 6:30 PM on the Borough’s Facebook page for the safety and welfare of all participants. A link to the meeting agenda is provided hereopens PDF file for your reference.
❄️Reminder: Holiday Information
Borough Hall Hours – December 24th, 2020: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be open on Thursday, December 24, 2020 until 12 noon by appointment only.
Borough Hall will be closed on Friday, December 25th, 2020 in observance of the Christmas holiday and will reopen on Monday, December 28th, 2020 by appointment only.
Curbside trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday, December 26th, 2020 instead of the regular Friday collection, due to the observance of the Christmas holiday.

Recognizing the importance of the restaurant and food service industry as a cornerstone of Montgomery County’s economic and workforce development as well as central to the growth of entrepreneurship, job opportunities, and our communities, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners is making available up to $5,000,000 in county economic development funds to support restaurants and other food service businesses as we move through the next phase of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
