The Jenkintown Police Department in cooperation with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office – will be accepting any unused prescription medications you would like to dispose of. Residents can bring the medications to the Jenkintown Police Department on Saturday, October 28th from 10 AM until 2 PM, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown PA 19046.

Newbold Road from Clement to Rydal Roads will be closed tomorrow, October 20th from 7AM until 3PM. This closure will take place to repair and preserve the road for the upcoming winter weather.

Next week is Fire Prevention Week, and the Fire Departments of Jenkintown are hosting an event in Town Square on Thursday, Oct. 12th, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Greenwood Avenue between Leedom Street and York Road will be closed for the event.
