Calling all ghosts and goblins! The Jenkintown Recreation Board is excited to announce this year’s Scare on the Square, our annual celebration of all that is trick and treat-y in Jenkintown. The Jenkintown Paving Project is scheduled to begin Thursday, October 25th. The Paving contractor, General Asphalt, will begin posting no parking signs to notify residents of the upcoming milling and paving project process.

The milling process will take place on Thursday, October 25th and Friday, October 26th on the following roads: Florence Avenue, (between Runnymede Avenue and West Avenue) Hillside Avenue (between Walnut Street and York Road), Leedom Street (between Hillside Avenue and Cloverly Avenue). During the milling process the roads will be open to through traffic with limited delays and residents will have access to driveways.

Please join the Jenkintown Borough Environmental Advisory Committee in Town Square on November 4th from 9:30 -11:30 AM to help remove weeds/ poison ivy, pick up litter and tidy up our community’s Town Square.
