Infrastructure work beginning Tuesday, March 26

The Borough will be undertaking storm sewer infrastructure work on Runnymede and Rodman Avenue beginning next Tuesday, March 26th. There has been an ongoing ground water issue negatively affecting residences on the 200 block of Runnymede and 300 block of Rodman Avenues. The subsurface drainage is now accumulating within the R.O.W. in those two areas, becoming a serious safety concern to the General Public.

The construction will begin on the 200 Block of Runnymede Avenue on Tuesday morning. For the safety of the workers performing this work Runnymede Avenue will be limited to one lane of traffic between Myrtle and Florence Avenue during this construction. The work on Runnymede Avenue will entail installing a sub-surface storm drainage conveyance system which will include two (2) storm water sewer inlets. The work on Runnymede Avenue is expected to take two (2) to three (3) days, upon completion work will immediately continue onto Rodman Avenue.
There will be Temporary No Parking Signs posted in the area of work and may be temporary delays to traffic while equipment or material is positioned.
