The Jenkintown Police Department and Jenkintown Borough continue working to improve the Parking of Vehicles within Jenkintown Borough.

As the Borough transitions to the next generation of parking meters and parking payment options there will be changes to the current payment methods. The three current Parking Kiosks located in the Town Square (Greenwood) lot, and the Greenwood/Leedom lots will no longer accept credit cards for payment. Payments at these three Kiosks can now be made with US dollar bills, US change or by using the ParkMobile payment method currently in use in the Borough by using Zone # 1603.

                                 

During this period a full review of the current Borough Parking code has been performed by the Department with public discussions now taking place at the Borough Council level.

The Department and Borough Council have received numerous concerns about the parking permit program as well as recommendations to improve that program. These public discussions will continue taking place as the revisions/updates to the Parking code are planned.
