Due to the timing of the forecasted inclement weather, associated freezing temperatures and possibility of icing conditions the collection of Curbside Trash and Recycling will begin being collected at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, Friday, December 23th Republic Services will be starting the curbside collection of trash and recycling one hour earlier (6:00 AM) than usual so the routes can be completed and the drivers can safely complete their trips to the landfill and back to their home base of Telford, PA.
If you have trash or recycling to be picked up please place it curbside tonight or earlier then 6:00 AM tomorrow as the Borough has committed in assisting Republic Services in having their employees complete their tasks and making it home safely to their families for the Holidays.
The Borough Public Works Department has prepared their equipment and supplies to treat the roads and Borough owned sidewalks if called on during the potential inclement weather we will be facing over the next couple days. As with all possible storms, if you do not need to drive, please don’t and stay at home, so the roads can be treated and remain open and safe for our First Responders and Emergency vehicles.
Borough Hall will be closed Monday, December 26th in observance of the Christmas Holiday.
Borough Hall re-opens for administrative business Tuesday, December 27th at 9:00 AM.
The Public Works Department will be working or on call throughout this weather event.
The Police Department will be fully staffed and on-duty 24/7 as they always are. If you have an Emergency call 911.
If you have any questions, please call Borough Hall at (215) 885-0700.
Please Stay Safe and Be Well.
