Below is important information from the Borough regarding the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and holiday activities occurring in Town Square:

Borough Hall Closed – November 24^th, 2022 and November 25^th, 2022: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 24^th, 2022 and Friday, November 25^th, 2022 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Borough Hall will reopen on Monday, November 28^th, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling Collection will be collected on Saturday, November 26^th, 2022.

Holiday Market: The first annual Holiday Market event will be held on Saturday, December 3^rd, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Town Square. 

Light Up The Square: The annual Holiday Tree Lighting event will be held on Saturday, December 3^rd, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in Town Square.  There will be music, refreshments, and a special visit from Santa at about 6:45 p.m.

Holiday Parking: Jenkintown Borough is pleased to announce that the holiday parking schedule begins Saturday, November 26^th, 2022 and will continue through the end of December. Metered parking is free Wednesday evenings after 4pm and all day Saturday. Fees are waived on those dates/times at any metered spot on the street or in either municipal lot.

Borough Hall Closed – December 26^th, 2022: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, December 26^th, 2022 in recognition of the Christmas holiday.  Borough Hall will reopen on Tuesday, December 27^th, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.

There will be no disruption to trash and recycling curbside collection for the Christmas Holiday. Trash and recycling will still be picked up on Friday, December 30^th, 2022.

Borough Hall Closed – January 2^nd, 2023: Jenkintown Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, January 2^nd, 2023 in recognition of the New Year.  Borough Hall will reopen on Tuesday, January 3^rd, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.

There will be no disruption to trash and recycling curbside collection for the New Year Holiday. Trash and recycling will still be picked up on Friday, January 6^th, 2023.
