Jenkintown Borough would like to remind residents to properly dispose of yard waste and curbside trash/recycling.  Following the proper disposal of waste is essential for both the health and safety of all public works and sanitation crews AND the productivity of the waste collection infrastructure as we face these unprecedented times.

Yard Waste Collection (Tuesdays)– Lawn/leaf/yard debris should be placed curbside in biodegradable bags.  All brush and branches should be bundled and tied and smaller than 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length.

Curbside Trash/Recycling Collection (Fridays)– Trash/recycling should be placed curbside in metal and/or plastic containers with tightly sealed lids, no larger than the 30-gallon size, or in tightly sealed plastic bags suitable for trash.

If you have any questions or concerns please call the Borough Hall office at 215-885-0700.  If your concern pertains to trash please call as early in the day as possible while the Waste collectors are still present in town.
